The historical centre of Lahore, Pakistan, is known as the Old City, often referred to as the Walled City. The city was established in the western portion of the Walled City, which was fortified with a mud wall throughout the Middle Ages, around 1000 CE. Many of Lahore's tourist attractions are located in the Walled City, which continues to be the city's cultural centre.

With support from the governments of Norway and the United States of America, the project's first phase was completed in 2015.The walled city of Lahore, which no doubt is among the oldest settlements, is a cosmos of monuments, havelis, cuisines, bazaars, culture and traditions and all these features make it a living heritage museum.
The city within a city holds significant cultural and heritage value, owing to Mughal architecture and Sikh architecture with prominent structures and forts. This place is great for family holiday with lots of fun activities to do.
