Ingredients:

  • Beef: 750 grams (thinly sliced)
  • Yogurt: 1/3 cup
  • Red chili powder: 1 Tbsp
  • Coriander powder: ½ Tbsp
  • Turmeric powder: ½ tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Oil: 1 cup
  • Onions: 4 medium-sized (thinly sliced)
  • Ginger-garlic paste: 1 Tbsp
  • Tomato: 1 large (thinly sliced)
  • Water: ¼ cup

Method:

  • Start by taking thinly sliced beef and making small cuts on it.
  • In a bowl, mix yogurt, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Marinate the beef in this mixture for one hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the sliced onions and fry until golden brown.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
  • Add the sliced tomato and cook until it becomes completely soft.
  • Add the marinated beef slices (pasanday) and roast for 5 minutes, ensuring the mixture combines well into a paste.
  • Pour ¼ cup of water, cover the pan with a lid, and cook on low flame for 35-40 minutes until the beef is tender.
  • Garnish with green chilies and serve hot with naan or roti.
