  • Goat Liver: 750 grams
  • Onion: 1 large, chopped
  • Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 ½ tbsp
  • Tomato: 2 large, roughly chopped
  • Curd: 2 tbsp
  • Tikka Masala: 1 ½ tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: ½ tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder: ½ tsp
  • Chilli Flakes: ½ tsp
  • Cumin Powder: ½ tsp
  • Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
  • Salt: as per taste
  • Garam Masala: ½ tsp
  • Green Chillies: 3
  • Fresh Coriander: for garnish
  • Dry Fenugreek: 1 tsp
  • Oil: as required

 

Method

  • Prepare the Base:
    • In a pan, heat oil and add chopped onion. Fry the onion for 2-3 minutes until it turns brown.
      • Add chopped tomatoes and ginger garlic paste. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
  • Spice it Up:
    • Add tikka masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chilli flakes, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Sauté well.
      • Add some water and cook the mixture well.
      • Add yogurt and fry until the water completely evaporates.
  • Cook the Liver:
    • Add goat liver, mix well, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
    • Add green chillies, garam masala, and dry fenugreek leaves. Fry well.
  • Simmer and Serve:
    • Add water according to the desired consistency of the gravy.
    • Cover and cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes.
