Method

Prepare the Base:

  • Heat the cooking oil in a Karahi or deep pan over medium heat.
  • Add the ginger garlic paste and sauté until it turns golden brown, releasing its aroma.

Cook the Chicken:

  • Add the chicken pieces to the Karahi along with the salt.
  • Fry the chicken for about 5 minutes or until it turns golden brown.

Add Tomatoes:

  • Cut the tomatoes in half and place them on top of the chicken.
  • Add a cup of water, cover the Karahi, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes, remove the lid, peel off the tomato skins, and crush the softened tomatoes with a spatula to create a rich sauce.
