    Method

    1. Prepare the Marinade:

  • Blend the onion into a paste along with a cup of water.
  • In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, salt, red chili powder, ground red chili, turmeric powder, and roasted black cumin powder.
  • Add this mixture to the chicken and mix well.
  • Stir in the onion and garlic paste along with half a lemon's juice.
  • Add the dried coriander powder and mix thoroughly.
  • Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

    2. Cooking the Karahi:

  • Heat the cooking oil in a deep pan or Karahi over medium heat.
