Chopped coriander leaves: 3 tbsp

Procedure

Heat oil in a kadai/pan.

Add cumin seeds and halved red chillies.

Stir and add chopped onions, fry on medium heat for 10 minutes till brown.

Reduce heat to low, add ginger garlic paste, and fry for 2 minutes.

Add tomato purée, mix, and fry on medium heat for 2 minutes till oil separates.

Add fried chicken, mix, and fry on high heat for 1 minute.

Add red chilli powder and roasted powdered masala/spice. Mix and fry on medium heat for 3 minutes, adding a splash of water to prevent burning. Continue to fry on low heat for another 3 minutes.

Reduce heat to low, add whisked yogurt, mix well, and cook on low heat for 2 minutes.

Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, mix well, and simmer for a minute or two.
