Ingredients:
- Minced meat: 500 g
- Potatoes: 2 large
- Dry red chilies: 6-7
- Green chilies: 5
- Fresh coriander: a handful
- Onions: 2 medium-sized
- Tomato: 1 large
- Curd (yogurt): 3 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste: 2 tsp
- Pepper: ½ tsp
- Turmeric: ½ tsp
- Salt: ½ tsp
- Coriander powder: 1½ tsp
- Garam masala: 1 tsp
- Cumin: 1 tsp
- Black cardamom: 2
- Cinnamon pieces: 2
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, add dry red chilies, and fry on low flame until roasted. Remove from skillet.
- Add black cardamom to the oil, followed by chopped onions. Fry until onions turn light brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for one minute on medium flame.
- Add minced meat and fry on high flame for 2-3 minutes until the color changes to brown.
- Stir in turmeric powder, red chili, yogurt, and tomatoes. Sauté well.
- Continue roasting the minced meat until the water from the meat completely evaporates.
- Add one glass of water and simmer on low flame for 40-45 minutes.
- Add potatoes, mix well, and add another glass of water. Cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes and meat are well cooked.
- Add green chilies and sprinkle fresh coriander.
- Turn off the flame and serve hot with roti.
